Mercan Studio’da biz, tasarım ve inşayı ayrılmaz bir bütün olarak görüyoruz. Her detayın uyum içinde olduğu mekânlar yaratmayı amaçlıyor; tasarımın sanatını, yüksek hassasiyetli uygulama ile bir araya getiriyoruz. Konutlardan restoranlara, lounge alanlarından seçkin mağazalara kadar farklı ölçeklerde projeler ürettik. İsviçre merkezli Geberit gibi saygın markalarla yaptığımız işbirlikleri ise vizyonumuzu uluslararası bir boyuta taşıyor. Bizim için her proje, yalnızca estetik bir mekân değil; yaşayan, hissettiren ve hikâye anlatan bir sanat eseri yaratma fırsatıdır.

I have always believed that a dwelling is far more than a shelter. To me, every home is a living work of art—a complete composition where architecture, interior, furniture, and the smallest details of daily life exist in harmony.
As a child wandering through the streets of Istanbul, I would gaze at the glowing windows of houses and imagine the stories unfolding inside. Each lighted window felt like a curtain rising onto another life, another rhythm, another poetry of existence. That simple curiosity became the seed of my practice: to design spaces not just as physical environments, but as vessels of imagination, memory, and identity.
In my work, I seek to dissolve the boundaries between architecture and art. I design everything that shapes the spirit of a space—furniture, lighting, textiles, decorative elements—because I believe that true unity comes when every detail speaks the same language. A dwelling, in this sense, is not merely constructed; it is composed like a painting, with textures, colors, and forms woven together to create harmony.
My academic path—Interior Architecture at Doğuş University with the support of a YÖK scholarship, followed by Brand Management at Bilgi University—taught me to see design not only as form, but as narrative. Every space tells a story, and every object within it is a word in that story.
Ultimately, my work is about creating projects that are stages for life itself. Places where light, shadow, fabric, and wood collaborate with human presence to compose moments of beauty and belonging. Each project is an invitation to step into a carefully crafted story—one that is at once deeply personal and universally human.
Benim için bir ev, hiçbir zaman yalnızca bir barınak olmadı. Her konut, baştan sona bir sanat eseri—mimari, iç mekân, mobilya ve günlük hayatın en küçük ayrıntılarının uyum içinde var olduğu bütüncül bir kompozisyon.
Çocukken İstanbul sokaklarında yürürken ışıkları yanan evlerin pencerelerine bakar, içeride nasıl hikâyeler yaşandığını hayal ederdim. Her ışık bana başka bir yaşamın, başka bir ritmin, varoluşun gizli bir şiirinin perdesi gibi görünürdü. Bu merak, zamanla pratiğimin çekirdeğine dönüştü: mekânları yalnızca fiziksel ortamlar değil, aynı zamanda hayallerin, anıların ve kimliklerin taşıyıcısı olarak tasarlamak.
Çalışmalarımda mimarlık ile sanat arasındaki sınırları eritmeye çalışıyorum. Bir mekânın ruhunu belirleyen her şeyi—mobilyaları, aydınlatmaları, tekstilleri, dekoratif öğeleri—kendim tasarlıyorum. Çünkü gerçek bütünlüğün, her detayın aynı dili konuştuğunda ortaya çıktığına inanıyorum. Bu anlamda bir konut inşa edilmez, tıpkı bir tablo gibi kurgulanır; dokular, renkler ve formlar bir araya gelerek uyumu oluşturur.
Akademik yolculuğum—YÖK bursu ile Doğuş Üniversitesi’nde İç Mimarlık eğitimi, ardından Bilgi Üniversitesi’nde Marka Yönetimi—bana tasarımı yalnızca biçim değil, aynı zamanda anlatı olarak görmeyi öğretti. Her mekân bir hikâye anlatır; içindeki her obje ise o hikâyenin bir kelimesidir.
Sonuçta çalışmalarım, yaşamın sahnesi olacak projeler yaratma arayışıdır. Işığın, gölgenin, kumaşın ve ahşabın insan varlığıyla birlikte iş birliği yaparak güzellik ve aidiyet duygusu üretmesi… Her proje, özenle kurgulanmış bir hikâyeye adım atmaya davettir—hem derinlemesine kişisel, hem de evrensel olarak insana dair.
